Romeo et Juliette Opera - Charles Gounod

Gounod's opera of the Shakespeare play premiered in Paris on April 27, 1867. The libretto was created by Jules Barbier and Michel Carré. The items below have two versions of the opera - one with subtitles and one without. Other resources are the synopsis, libretto (in French and English side-by-side), and the original Shakespeare play. I include that here as most of have not read the bard's words since the third grade.
